NF Membrane
The NF series nanofiltration membrane elements produced by WSD have selective separation characteristics. They can remove almost all bacteria, viruses, microorganisms and macromolecular organic matter in water or solution, and have a high removal rate for antibiotics, insecticides, pesticides, heavy metals and most divalent and above ions, while retaining some beneficial nutrient minerals and small molecules such as sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, and metasilicic acid. They can be used for the preparation of direct drinking water, mineral water, and softened water, partial desalination and decolorization of wastewater with high salt concentration and organic concentration, and separation and purification of some inorganic salts, organic matter and other materials.
The operating pressure of the nanofiltration series products is extremely low, which can greatly save the operating cost of equipment or systems, and is widely used in drinking water, food and beverage, medicine, reclaimed water reuse, wastewater treatment and other industries.
■ Technical Parameters
*The water output of a single element may fluctuate within the range of ±15%
Nanofiltration Membrane Operating Limit
Maximum operating pressure------------- 600psi (4.14MPa)
Maximum inlet flow rate------------- 17.0m³/h (8040), 3.6m³/h (4040)
Inlet temperature range------------- O-45C
Maximum inlet SDI 15 ------------- 5.0
Maximum residual chlorine concentration------------- 0.1mg/L
Inlet pH range during continuous operation------------- 3-10
Inlet pH range during chemical cleaning------------- 1-13
Maximum allowable pressure drop of a single membrane element------------- 15psi (0.1MPa)
It is recommended to flush the membrane element for 24 hours before first use and drain the flushing water directly. For ease of installation, apply lubricant to all seals. Keep the element moist at all times after initial wetting. To prevent bacterial biogrowth when the system is shut down for a long time, it is recommended to immerse the membrane element in a preservative solution. Rinse off the preservative before use. The membrane has a certain resistance to short-term attack by chlorine (hypochlorite). Avoid long-term exposure to sunlight!
